Just before Christmas I came across a website on practice that I hadn’t seen before. Since then I have devoured all the resources on offer there (there are a lot) and have read several books by its creator, Philip Johnston. The principles, ideas and resources on offer from that site are so valuable and well matched to the ethos here at HTP that I have decided to dedicate an entire week to bringing you the best of the resources on offer there.
The site in question is Practicespot.com. Over the next few days I will be reviewing the main website – practicespot.com as well as the associated practicespotpress.com and musicteaching.com. Having just read ‘Practice Revolution’, ‘Promoting Your Teaching Studio’, ‘Practice Planner’ and ‘Not Until You’ve Done Your Practice!’ I’ll also be giving reviews of these books.
